Oneofthedifficulitiestoaninternationalresolutiontoenvironmentalissuesisthedifferenceinindividualnationsviewandpoliciestowardenvironmentalprotection.Inorderforinternationalcooperationtooccurandsucceed,thenationsoftheworldmustsubmitthemselvedtointernationalstandardsandsupervisionbyaninternationalcommissionelectedbytheparticipatingnationsoftheworld.Allmembersmustagreetoabidebythestandardsestablished.

Theenvironmentalissuesfacingeachcountryarenotunrelatedtothewellbeingoftherestoftheworld.Theimpactislongtermandinternationalinscope.WithoutinternationalcooperationandagreementtoaddresssuchenvironmentalissuesasglacialmeltingattheSouthPole,depletionoftheozonelayer,waterpollution,airpolution,etc.,theenvironmentalconditionsoftheworldwilldeterioratetothedetrimentofeverynation,notjustthosethatignoreorlacktheresourcesandtechnologytoresolvetheirindividualenvironmentalproblems.
